We present information for participants of the Gdańsk Marathon gathered in one place. It is easy to forget something in the pre-start stress, and we care about your comfort!

Collecting starting packages – Marathon, 5 km Run and Relays
Only on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 12:00 to 21:00
Location of the race office: Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, ul. Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk 1, Gdańsk
To collect the bib number, you must show the QR code and an ID with a photo (passport, ID card, driving license) at the race office. The QR codes will be sent on April 2 / 3, 2025.
The starter package for the marathon relay is collected by the relay captain or any person authorized by him (does not have to be a member of the relay).
If you are unable to collect the starter package yourself, you can authorize anyone to collect your package. This person should have authorization and be able to show a photo / scan of your ID or your QR code.

If there is a minor in the relay team, it is mandatory to provide the consent of the parents/legal guardians on the organizer’s form when collecting the package – DOWNLOAD HERE
Collecting starter packages – Gdańsk Marathon Junior
Only on Saturday, April 5, 2025, between 12:00 and 15:30
Location of the race office: Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, ul. Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk 1, Gdańsk
The starter package for the Gdańsk Marathon Junior is collected by parents / legal guardians or coaches upon presentation of their ID. When collecting the starter package, the consent of the parents / legal guardians must be provided on the organizer’s form.

Parking for athletes
There is a parking lot at the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk stadium at ul. Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk 1 that can accommodate approximately 2,500 cars. Access to the parking lot on the day of the competition will be possible until 8:00. Departure from the parking lot will be possible from 11:15. When parking in this parking lot, do not forget to pay the parking fee according to the parking operator’s tariff.
Gdańsk Marathon Junior Start – April 5, 2025 (Saturday)
16:30 – START – 1000 m distance (12 – 15 years old)
16:55 – START – 500 m distance (7 – 11 years old)
17:15 – START – 200 m distance (1 – 6 years old)
17:40 – Gdańsk Marathon Junior Decoration Ceremony
In the 200 m race (1 – 6 years old), parental assistance is allowed during the race, but children with parents line up at the start from the back. A parent can assist the child and run with them by the hand, but the parent cannot pull the child.

Marathon competitors start from 9 starting zones, which were assigned based on the competitors’ declarations in the registration form.
A – under 3:00:00
B – 3:00:00 – 3:29:59 + all relays
C – 3:30:00 – 3:44:59
D – 3:45:00 – 3:59:59
E – 4:00:00 – 4:14:59
F – 4:15:00 – 4:29:59
G – 4:30:00 – 4:44:59
H – 4:45:00 – 4:59:59
I – 5:00:00 – 5:30:00
5 km run – competitors start from one start zone
NOTE! It is only possible to move to a slower start zone. Moving and starting from a faster start zone will be penalized by adding 5 minutes to the final result.
Finish time limit
Marathon and Marathon Relay – 5 hours and 30 minutes counted from the start of the last starting sector (until 14:46)
5 km run – 60 minutes
Pacemakers
During the Gdańsk Marathon, 22 pacemakers will work to help you achieve your target times. The pacemakers will lead you to the times: 2:59:59, 3:14:59, 3:29:59, 3:44:59, 3:59:59, 4:14:59, 4:29:59, 4:44:59, 4:59:59. Look for the characteristic balloons in the starting sectors.
Transport to the transition zones for the Marathon Relay participants
The organizer will provide transport to the relay transition zones. Buses will depart from the bus stop located next to the Tesla showroom on Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk Street on Sunday at 8:35. The organizer does not provide transport for people who are late for the bus. To board the bus, you must have your start number.
After the race
There will be 28 shower stations in specially prepared shower containers at the competitors’ disposal after the race. Each competitor will receive a shower gel from ZIAJA in the starting package. If you want to use the shower, do not forget your own towel.
The finisher’s zone will be located in a large white tent, where each competitor will find a vegetarian or meat meal (to choose from), drinks (water, isotonic, Red Bull) and fruit.
In the tent, you will also find massage stations, where you can use the massage service.
Changes to relays
Changes to relay teams can be made in the race office on Saturday between 12:00 and 21:00. The cost of changing one competitor is PLN 30. The change is made by the relay captain. All formalities are taken care of on site.
