On April 1, 2026, first aid training for 80 Energa Gdańsk Marathon volunteers took place at Primary School No. 27 named after Children of United Europe and the 3rd “STO” Public Primary School in Gdańsk. Paramedic Radosław Iwaniuk from the NZOZ Ratuj (National Public Healthcare Facility) led the training. It covered cardiopulmonary resuscitation and bleeding control. First aid saves lives – volunteer training is a fundamental element of improving safety during events organized by Energy Events.
The safety of marathon participants is our priority! However, we hope that the skills acquired will not have to be used during the event. Nevertheless, we are ensuring that not only the medical staff but also our volunteers, whom you will meet at numerous points along the route, are always ready for action!
