We present our this year’s marathon route. We have tried to keep it similar to last year’s, taking into account any potential traffic restrictions. However, it will still pass through the most beautiful parts of the city of Gdańsk.

The Energa Gdańsk Marathon 2026 route will be certified by the Polish Athletic Association (PZLA), so minor changes are possible during the certification process. It largely overlaps with the 2025 route. Where possible, we are listening to the feedback from the runners: we have eliminated the bottleneck of running through the Gdańsk Shipyard Gate Guardhouse and the Holy Spirit Gate. Additionally, the route features three new attractions: the drawbridge to Ołowianka, the Baltic Philharmonic on Ołowianka and the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre. Due to the renovation of the footbridges in Gdańsk’s Zaspa district, the section along Gdańsk Beach has been extended and you’ll also run around the ERGO Arena, which we invite you to the Sopot Half Marathon this fall!
